I’m over the moon to announce that after nine years of dreaming (since I was eleven), months of writing and hours upon hours of research into the market in South Africa, I have decided that self-publishing is the way forward for me and I’ve now officially published my first novel.
You can imagine my excitement when I saw my designer bring this cover to life.
Now, I still have to wait a week or two to receive my physical copy of the book, and only then will I actually consider myself an author. I’m just like that.
But in the meantime, I really wanted to share it with you, I’m extremely excited about it and hope that this is the beginning of a very long writing career.
I’ve got stories and ideas going into the double digits, and I can’t wait to reveal them all to you.
Alright, onto The Sorrow.
I know I’m not a good enough writer yet to do something genre-defining or out of this world, but I’m proud of having completed the story and feel it’s my beginning. I appreciate any of you who take a few minutes to check it out, and whatever my shortcomings in this book I will definitely do better in my next one. I hope you’ll stick with me on this hopefully long journey.
I will be unveiling my second book soon, as well as a tentative completion date for it, so I’m excited for that too.
